Through our project we aim to develop an innovative training package for health training trainers to be used as a basic tool to train healthcare support staff, familiarise them with PTD and enhance their skills and competences to recognise and treat people with traumatic disorders through appropriate strategies to de-escalate stressful interactions.
OBJECTIVES
▶ Design, test and publish an innovative training package for health VET trainers to develop the skills and competences needed to properly recognise, interact and treat people with PTD
▶To organise training courses to train health support staff directly
▶ Help families/social group of people with PTD connect with healthcare support staff and develop mutual trust to cope with the process and emergencies
PROJECT RESULTS
▶ Curriculum for the VET trainer in color therapy (IO1)
▶ Virtual Reality Scenarios (IO2)
▶ A digital reality/augmented reality software that includes augmented reality materials and easy-to-read texts about methods and scenarios for post-traumatic disorder and its treatment. It will include learning materials for transversal skills development and training content tailored to the specific needs of our target group
▶ Psychotherapy Methodology and Therapist’s Manual for Working Groups on How to Treat Posttraumatic Disorder by Color Therapy (IO3)
▶ Training-the-trainers: training event for health training trainers, C1
▶ Training of learners: training event for healthcare support staff, C2
▶ 4 multiplication events for health professionals, policy makers and health professionals
