Rural+ – Better opportunities though skill growth

To get jobs and stay in work, adults need to have the right mix of knowledge, skills and competences.
Special attention should be paid to skills common to a wide range of jobs, laying the foundations for further learning and improving employability.
OBJECTIVES
▶ Knowledge in detail, from employers, of the general key skills required in the labour market
▶ Provide this set of key skills to a target group of VET learners and also to amplify and perpetuate the effect of these courses by training a target group of VET educators
PROJECT RESULTS
▶ 1 map of VET needs
▶ 3 courses, one Business Tag, one Permanent Learning and one Digital literacy along with a kit for trainers
▶ 1 e-learning platform
▶ 1 training event for VET educators in Cyprus
▶ 1 training event for VET learners- in Portugal
PARTNER
▶ ROMÂNIA: LEADER: an NGO actively involved in the development of the Romanian rural area (ACOR Calarasi Branch);
▶ ROMÂNIA: a consulting and training company VET (Mixt Source Management);
▶ ITALY: an NGO actively involved in rural development (Polygonal);
▶CYPRUS: a training provider with expertise in VET skills development (STANDO);
▶ PORTUGAL: a rural VET school (Previform).
